Told in Confidence

“I am going to tell you a story that I never tell anyone. But it's okay to tell you, because I don't know who you are.”

An intimate performance for one or two people at a time, Told in Confidence is a gentle reflection on the taboos and stigma surrounding mental health. Through traditional storytelling and playful use of darkness and light, a space is created where secrets can be shared. Some things can only really be said to a stranger.

To be performed as part of Emergency, Manchester's marathon micro-festival celebrating the bizarre, the bold and the beautiful throughout the cavernous realms of Z-Arts.

Emergency runs from 12am-11pm on Saturday 4th October with
Told in Confidence running at regular intervals from 12-5.

Attendance is free, however as the performance is very limited capacity, the piece is likely to be booked up, and will be first-come, first-served on the day.

Presented in association with Word of Warning and hÅb, a greenroom legacy project.
